Triglav Carpati-Slovenian Romanian business club, in cooperation with IEDC Bled School of Management hosted a event - IEDC MBA MasterClass in Bucharest, October 19, 2011.
Thirty-five Romanian managers and other executives, members of Alumni Club Romania, members of Triglav Carpati Club took part in a Masterclass.
A highly interactive lecture titled "Mixing it up: Organizing creativity?" was led by Dr. Ian Sutherland, Director of Centre for Arts and Leadership Development and Research and Director of the PhD Program at IEDC.
In this interactive workshop ran by Dr. Ian Sutherland participants discussed on how to balance structure to optimize creativity in organizational structures and bureaucracy which often sabotage creative attempts before they begin. Dr. Sutherland turned to creative professionals and activities, musicians and music making, and talked about ways of developing a distributed leadership mindset to harness the creative potential of team leading and working.
The lecture was followed by a reception where managers had a chance to further elaborate on the topic as well as to network.
Events organized by club are also co-financed by Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Slovenia through JAPTI - Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments and sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Bucharest.
